About True Busy

True Busy for You was established in early 2002 by owner Shelly True after she lost her full time job of 15 years. Shelly had thought of this idea some time ago, but lacked the time and training to get it started so it was forgotten. One day while running her own errands the idea came back to her and she decided this was the right time to pursue it. During the last few months of her full time employment she attended classes and seminars emphasizing home business start up and did extensive research into the personal assistant field.

Shelly has a background in customer service and retail, and even worked in a busy emergency room for six years. She has natural organization skills, high energy, and has held positions in volunteer organizations requiring her to plan successful events. She even planned her own wedding at a local park which turned out to be a huge success.

True Busy for You has been a member of the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce since October 2002. Shelly has volunteered for many chamber sponsored events and served on the Gladfest 2004, 2009, and 2010 planning committees. In 2005, she joined the highly energetic group of Ambassadors working at the monthly luncheons as well as making attendees feel welcome at other Chamber events. True Busy for You was also nominated for the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year award in 2006 and 2007. And in 2008 Shelly was awarded Member of the Year by the Gladstone Chamber. Shelly has also been chosen to serve on the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce Board for three years starting in 2010.

True Busy for You joined the Liberty Chamber of Commerce in 2008 and has been busy making valuable contacts at the luncheons and after hours.

True Busy for You is also a member of the Northland Independent Business Women's "Lunch Bunch" and the Womens Council for Realtors

Although True Busy for You was designed  with busy people in mind, we also cater to those who can't get out to do their own errands or shopping and those who just don't want to.
